In any given moment, we have two options: to step forward into growth or to step back into safety." -Abraham Maslow

About Dr. Matt Roth
Meet Dr. Matt Roth
I am a licensed psychologist based in New York City. I understand that regardless of age, whether you're a child, adolescent, adult, or parent, we all embark on our unique journeys and sometimes require guidance when we feel off course. I firmly believe that everyone possesses the capacity to learn, grow, and make choices aligned with their values. However, unwanted thoughts, emotions, and external factors can impede our progress.
While psychotherapy can be complex to define, my approach is straightforward: I collaborate with you to pinpoint your goals, whether for yourself, your child, or your family, and assist you in moving in that direction.
